Powered by passion about cooperative principles in the workplace, Laura and Alex set out to build their independent ice cream making business that would truly welcome one and all, be part of the community, celebrate local produce and champion decent employment and strong work ethic. They set about establishing a place that families and explorers of the South Downs would love to visit – a local business with heart and fantastic flavours. They also didn’t want to take themselves too seriously but serious enough for you to want to leave the parlour saying
“Holy Cow! this ice cream is out of this world!”
They first opened their doors in 2016 and have since been enjoying the support of their loyal customers and new converts from far and wide.
Our little corner of Sussex has so much to offer so we keep it local, fresh and always approved by our chief test-tasters!
